10.00am Cycle from Selsey to Brick Kiln Garden Centre and return

22 miles approximately 5 hours

What a lovely way to start the weekend and the first day of June.

The Manhood Peninsula is blessed with a lot of tracks and quiet country lanes and this is an opportunity to discover local cycle routes. We will take a leisurely cycle ride from Selsey to Brick Kiln through Medmerry Nature Reserve on to the new cycle path to RSPB Pagham and then join Bill Way to Mundham. We then cycle through the lakes and along the cycle path on the Bognor Road to the Garden Centre. We will stop at the café for refreshments.

Helmets must be worn and bikes should be suitable for the distance and off road cycle paths. Remember water and any kit needed for your bike.

£2.00 per person (refreshments not included)

7.30pm John Mason Lecture

We are delighted to announce a lecture by the celebrated astronomer Dr John Mason MBE.

Selsey is renowned for its connections with astronomy thanks to the pioneering work of Sir Patrick Moore. Those of us fortunate to have been to previous Dr Mason lectures will recognise that he is a fascinating, knowledgeable and entertaining speaker, and we know we will be captivated by the lecture.
