10.00am RSPB Pagham Harbour & Medmerry Walk

8 miles, 5 hours

The RSPB events are always highly regarded and led by experts who know the area very well.

As spring gives way to summer it’s a beautiful time to be walking around the RSPB reserves. Starting from RSPB Pagham Harbour Visitor Centre at Sidlesham, this 8 mile circular walk, led by the RSPB, takes in the east side of RSPB Medmerry including the Ham Viewpoint, before walking across the north end of Selsey to the coast and Church Norton, returning along the west side of RSPB Pagham Harbour.

We will stop for a picnic so please bring a packed lunch.

£4 per person.

Tickets can be booked  here.

Meet at Pagham Harbour RSPB Visitor Centre, Selsey Road, Sidlesham.
Bus 51 Chichester to Selsey stops at the entrance. PO20 7NE.

Contact RSPB Pagham Harbour on 01243 641 508 for more information.

4.00pm Mindful Walking

In this event, walking on an expanse of beach at low tide is accompanied by an audio guide. The guide consists of a series of suggestions and invitations to enhance your participation, in addition to some short pieces of music and spoken words. We hope that this guide will pique your interest and bring a sense of freshness and curiosity to the experience of the body and walking in an inter-tidal space.

Booking is essential. The event is restricted to 17 places. MP3 players, with headphones and pre-loaded with the audio guide and ready for use, are supplied on the day.

£4 per person.

Tickets can be booked  here.

Meet at Marine Gardens car park, Hillfield Road, Selsey. PO20 0LJ.
